Introduction

Jane is a specialist family practitioner in all aspects of children work including residence and contact disputes, and public law applications including UK and international adoptions. She carries out a considerable amount of work for local authorities, guardians and parents, as well as private clients. She is regularly involved in cases concerning non- accidental injury, sexual abuse, physical and emotional abuse. Jane is regularly instructed in financial remedy matters involving trusts (TOLATA) foreign divorces and cohabitees.

Jane has a Direct Access practice (2006 – fully accredited) representing private clients in complex financial remedy disputes, leave to remove permanently from the jurisdiction, contact and domestic violence. Jane cross qualified as a solicitor at a magic circle law firm in the City (2001) where she gained valuable experience over 3 years as employed counsel in the corporate department. She brings this commercial training into her work at the Bar and its advantages are particularly prevalent for her direct access clients.
